Prime Minister Rama's new car, the Minister of State: It was rented, paid for by the Socialist Party

The Minister of Economy was asked, but the Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations answered, how much the new car that Prime Minister Edi Rama is using cost. Erjona Ismailaj revealed who pays for the head of government's vehicle.

"The car used by the prime minister is rented and paid for from the budget of the Socialist Party of the Republic of Albania. Normally, the car used by the prime minister is also used for his political activity," the minister said, according to A2 CNN.

He did not provide further details, arguing that it concerns elements of the prime minister's security. "The car settings are also related to security issues, which are made known or guided by the Guard of the Republic of Albania, based on the level of security that the prime minister of the country should have," Ismailaj said.

Erjona Ismailaj was more liberated when she had to talk about the former number two of Edi Rama's government, Arben Ahmetaj. "I feel as sorry, as dirty, to discuss or respond to statements made by fugitives," she said. "Just as he has the courage, from the filth in which he has sunk, to throw scum at the projects of the Albanian government, he must find the courage to face Albanian justice himself."

Regarding the accusations of Ahmetaj, who is still wanted by SPAK, the minister conveyed the defensive message towards KAYO. "KAYO is one of the prides in terms of projects implemented by this government," she said.
