"Still with Salianji?!"/ Berisha: He has crossed the red lines and has self-excluded himself, I won't move him anymore!
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted harshly to the arrests made after yesterday's protest, describing them as provocations and police terror against peaceful citizens.
Berisha demanded the immediate release of the detained protesters, among whom, according to him, are two citizens from Kosovo who were in Albania as tourists.
He warned the State Police not to use violence against protesters and stressed that any repressive action constitutes a violation of the law and an attempt to criminalize the protest.
" I am here to denounce with the greatest force the provocations and police terror against some young people, who have absolutely not committed even the slightest act of violence.
10 have been detained, of whom 4 have been arrested. Erlis Sina, Artan Hysenaj, Albi Kryezoi, Xhejson Prendi. Two of them are Kosovars, tourists who arrived and were arrested by the police as soon as they found out that they were Kosovars in order to be able to accuse Kosovo citizens of participating in the protests.
The truth is that these two came as tourists. They were here after the protest. They took pictures. One told me that I was the son of a KLA fighter, and I hugged him, took a picture with him. Now they have arrested him.
I demand their immediate release and warn the police not to touch the protesters because they are fighting against thieves of the nation, criminals on duty.
"Let's think carefully, let's stand with the law rather than with the criminal, and immediately release the arrested persons," Berisha declared.
Meanwhile, the Democratic leader declared that Ervin Salianji has crossed red lines and has self-excluded himself, but he said there is no decision against him.
"Still thinking about Salianji. But we are here for the encyclopedia of crime that was never presented. But what does Salianji have to do with this. But Salianji was a political prisoner when the elections were held. What does this mean?
"Today, there is a man who has crossed the red lines. I have said when he crossed the red lines. We have some red lines. No, there is no decision, he has excluded himself. Every time you ask, you will get this answer. If you crossed the red lines, you cross them," Berisha stressed.
