After the presentation of the candidates for MPs in Shkodra, the Political Leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, in a statement to the media, stated that the offer of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats is the first right-wing program in Albania in 35 years, focusing on improving conditions for the Albanian family, the middle class, supporting justice, entrepreneurship and youth.

He appealed for support through the vote, assuring that this is the right moment to put an end to the property and corruption racket, for the real fight against corruption, for real economic development and walking side by side with our strategic allies.

According to him, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition will bring economic development and close cooperation with Albania's strategic allies.

With soul and heart we are the Democratic Party, we are the democrats. We can never accept that the Democratic Party is the party of Ilir Meta and his friends. We can never accept that the DP turns into a tool of anyone's personal interests. This has been my message from the beginning, this is my message today. We can never accept that the Democratic Party and we are going to be put on a collision course with our strategic allies. So, we lost four years in a futile war within the family for personal interests and ended up where we were three and a half or four years ago. We fought this battle to not put the Democrats at war with America, now it is the same people who are looking for America's seals, why did we waste this time? The answer is simple, this time was lost to the Democrats, they were lost to the people of Shkodra, they were lost to the opposition, they were lost to the Albanians. Because they have used this time for themselves to bargain, like the one I mentioned, the amnesty, or to bargain to close the lists. So that you vote for someone you think represents the Democrats, and on the list you get Ilir Meta with his friends and the Cuckoo's eggs that Edi Rama has put there.

Our task is the program and the candidates. Our program, as the CDU itself expressed it, when we unveiled it on June 1, is the first truly right-wing program of Albania in 35 years, centered on the Albanian family, centered on the Albanian middle class, with a fair stance for the first time towards property and the persecuted, towards entrepreneurship and youth. This is also what our team now gives meaning to, the physiognomy which consists of worthy representatives of these interest groups, of these families, of these resistances of Shkodra and all of Albania. This is our task, let us not do this task well, we are in debt to Shkodra and all of Albania. With these candidates and this program, it is your task as citizens of Shkodra and all of Albania to decide for yourselves and your families. You want real change and not recycling, you want for the first time in 35 years to put an end to Katowice for properties, for the persecuted, for the real fight against corruption, for real economic development and walking side by side with our strategic allies. Then you have the opportunity through your vote for the Euro-Atlantic Coalition and our candidates. It is the citizens who will decide, it is the people of Shkodra who will decide and it has never been clearer and more direct. The vote for their lists is a vote for the Cuckoo's eggs, they do not go beyond the closed list in these elections, not even Rama. The vote for the candidates of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition translates into a vote to bring them to the Assembly as you wish.
