The Minister of State for Standards and Services, Milva Ekonomi, speaking from the rostrum of the Assembly, compared the economic growth of our country with the countries of the European Union. The economy has spoken based on figures that have been made public by INSTAT.
"Now it is an important fact that economic growth in Albania marked 5.97% growth in the first quarter, which is the highest level of growth comparable to EU countries where the average is 5.6%. Meanwhile and in the region this is the highest growth.
Looking at the performance of the economy until 2021, we have noticed that things have been difficult but our economy has resisted.
If you look at the report of the deposit insurance agency there is a figure that shows another resistance.
The number of individuals who have insurance level deposits, ie 2 million and 500 thousand new ALL, their number at the end of 2021 had increased by 9% compared to the end of 2020.
And the number of depositors had gone more than 2 million 611 individuals
