The Socialist Party opened its electoral campaign today with an organization that resembled a concert, as each region was represented with a song or dance from the area.
What stood out was the fact that at no point was the Socialist Party flag visible, as the candidates present and the citizens only held the Albanian and European Union flags.
Also, there are no posters or logos of the Socialist Party posted anywhere.
This is due to the fact that the main theme of this campaign for the Socialist Party and Prime Minister Rama is the integration of Albania into the European Union.
In fact, Rama is seeking votes from left and right in the May 11 elections precisely with the sole purpose of having the Albanian flag raised in Brussels in 2030.
