She won the mandate from the open list in Kukës, here is who the 25-year-old Elvira Peka is

In the May 11 elections, the Kukës district elected three deputies, two from the Democratic Party and one from the Socialist Party.

25-year-old Elvira Peka will be the new MP representing the Has district in the Albanian Parliament.

Emerging from the Democratic Party's open list, Peka managed to receive 2,050 votes, leaving behind MP Isuf Çela, who received only 667 votes, remaining outside the new Parliament.

Also, 25-year-old Elvira Peka received more votes than the other DP candidate, Shkelqim Shehu, who received only 378.

Elvira Peka has completed her higher education at the Faculty of Economics and works in an accounting office.
