Flutura Açka: I'll show you Gazment Bardhi's game!

Democratic Party MP Flutura Açka has spoken about her former relationship with Gazment Bardhi, for whom she had once publicly expressed respect and trust, even calling him her hero during the 2021 election campaign.
Açka recalled one of the most dramatic moments of her political career, the night of April 21, 2021, when the murder occurred in Elbasan during the election campaign. She said that she experienced that evening deeply emotionally and had decided not to leave.
"I said to myself: even if they come back with weapons in their hands, let them take me. I felt it was my responsibility. I was idealistic, I entered politics with pure intentions, but I was faced with masters of facades," said Açka.
She admitted that at the time she had trusted Bardhi as a representative of the reformist spirit within the DP, alongside Enkelejd Alibeaj, Jorida Tabaku and Grida Duma. But according to her, she later discovered that Bardhi had been part of a hidden political game and was not sincere in his intentions.
"I believed in the facade. I believed that Bardhi would last until the 2023 local elections. But I realized very quickly that he was in the game. They know how to sell the facade well," Açka added.
The MP harshly criticized the internal climate in the DP, due to the constant attacks by Sali Berisha. She emphasized that the party failed to create a new and unifying spirit for the Democrats.
"I did not enter politics to fight against Berisha, but to build something new. The DP was no longer what I believed in," she said.
Açka also clarified that she has always acted in accordance with the Constitution, and that she was not part of any secret project or political plan.
"I was not part of their project. I was there to implement the Constitution, as I took the oath. When they punished me, I did not forgive them and I do not forgive God for punishing me without guilt," he said in a firm tone.
She also mentioned the incident with Flamur Noka and Gazment Bardhi, emphasizing that the way they treated her was insulting and unfair.
In the end, Açka rejected accusations that he collaborates with the socialists, emphasizing that he has acted with principle and honesty.
