"You shouldn't raise your expectations to the sky and then blow up like a balloon," Murrizi disappointed by yesterday's protest: The only one who left was Ervin Salianji

Former Democratic Party MP and one of the most critical voices towards the leadership of this political force, Myslim Murrizi, has openly expressed his disappointment regarding the rally organized the day before by former Prime Minister and DP leader, Sali Berisha.
In a media appearance, Murrizi assessed that what was presented as a protest did not fulfill this function at all, turning into simply an orchestrated political activity. According to him, the rally should have lasted longer and been more severe, in line with expectations and statements that had been made earlier even within the party structures.
He emphasized that the National Council had clearly requested an escalation of the stance and the turning of the activity into a real protest, but this line was not followed. Murrizi underlined that as long as an activity is conducted with staging, podium and predetermined speeches, it remains a gathering and not a civic protest.
"To be honest. I didn't see yesterday as a protest, it was a political rally. It should have lasted longer and it should have been more severe. In the National Council, it was requested, I didn't speak up, they requested a tougher approach to turning the rally into a protest. They didn't implement this stance. As long as it's staged and people are talking, it's a pipe.
"You shouldn't raise your expectations to the sky and blow up like a balloon. This is a mistake by Sali Berisha and those who surround Berisha. Two hours before, we will knock him down, we will uproot him and then two hours later, some people who don't have a stature, don't rise and shouldn't speak, speak. If only Berisha could speak a motivating word. They want and imitate Berisha, he doesn't need colorless photocopies, he is there himself ," Murrizi said on Top News.
Asked about the scenario he would follow if he were the leader of the Democratic Party, Murrizi emphasized that he would have a completely different approach and would have turned the rally into a real protest, without a podium and speeches.
"I wouldn't speak and there wouldn't be a podium. I would call on citizens to protest, I would try to make a friendly request to make another continuation of them today, as much as I can," said Murrizi.
The Democrats gathered on the Boulevard the day before with very high expectations. Just as before the rally, but also yesterday afternoon, they declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama would immediately leave the government.
But in the end, the only one who left the Democrats was Ervin Salianji. Shortly after the protest ended, the former MP who participated in the protest was removed by Flamur Noka from the Democrats' WhatsApp group. After declaring that no one could expel him from the party, Noka told him that he "could".
