"The construction of the new hangar is completed" - Edi Rama:

The Black Hawk helicopters of our Air Force will have their dedicated “home” at the Farka Air Base, where the construction of the new hangar has just been completed.
Through a post on Facebook, Prime Minister Edi Rama writes that the investment in infrastructure and modernization will increase the operability of the Farka Base, offering all the facilities not only for carrying out helicopter maintenance work, but also improving the working conditions for our pilots and technicians.

"Our Air Force's Black Hawk helicopters will have their dedicated "home" at the Farka Air Base, where the construction of the new hangar has just been completed. Investment in infrastructure and modernization will increase the operability of the Farka Base, offering all the facilities not only for carrying out helicopter maintenance work, but also improving the working conditions for our pilots and technicians," Rama wrote on Facebook.

The Prime Minister shared, among other things, the testimony of Captain Ertion Kodra, Chief of Maintenance of Black Hawk, who praised this investment that offers better working conditions.

"This hangar will greatly help increase the operability and maintenance of Black Hawk helicopters by providing better working conditions and service for the maintenance staff. The construction of this hangar is to accommodate up to 4 Black Hawk helicopters, but not only for accommodation. Daily maintenance will also be carried out here as well as all processes. It will also be equipped with a crane that will serve to remove the heaviest parts ," said Captain Kodra.
