"We are building a Jewish museum", Rama messages from Israel: Albania will be your second home

The head of the Albanian government, Edi Rama, has been honored by the President of Israel with a presidential medal, which is awarded to important world personalities in politics, and in this case it comes as a tribute to the example that Albanians left to the world by not surrendering any Jew, religious and ethnic tolerance.
During his speech, Rama expressed gratitude and said that he receives this medal on behalf of all Albanians.
Rama conveyed another strong message, emphasizing that Albania continues and will continue to stand by Israel in these difficult moments, saying that Hamas is not a resistance movement, but the Nazis of the new century.
" We are building a Jewish museum in Vlora and a Jewish cultural center in Tirana. Albania will be your second home and you will be welcome. We hope that we will be able to build something, not at the level of our grandparents, but in the same spirit of brotherhood and cooperation."
We stand firmly by Israel's side in this difficult moment where there are still people in the medieval basements of Hamas. Albania has been supportive of the two-state solution, but in my and our perspective, there is no solution with Hamas there.
"Contrary to what others have tried to say, Hamas is not a resistance movement, but the Nazis of the new century, and history has taught us that with the Nazis there is no peace, there is no compromise," Rama said.
