The member of the DP-Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Merita Bakiu, has reacted after the closure of the protest in the Thumanë-Kashar axis. According to her, the city of Kruja is without tourists today, while businesses are heading towards closure, due to the isolation caused by the change in the initial project of the new road, which provided for entry and exit on the new road.
Merita Bakiu was today at the protest alongside the residents, stressing that they will stand by each other as their cause is just.

The historic city is devoid of tourists, honest entrepreneurs are closing their doors, living costs are becoming even more unaffordable due to the isolation imposed by the violence of the authorities.
For months our voice has not been heard, because Rama's priority is his clientele and not the citizens.
The solution of this issue requires an immediate reflection by state institutions, as every day that passes is an unjust and unaffordable cost.
We will stand against this evil. We stand by each other because our cause is right and we cannot allow Kruja and the Krutans to be trampled and discriminated against.
