Rama in Shkodra, promise to teachers: Our ambition is to increase the average salary to 1250 euros

Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the presentation of the project for the reconstruction of the "Ismail Qemali" school in Shkodra, saying that it will be one of the most beautiful.
Rama also spoke about the phase of equipping schools with intelligent laboratories, saying that so far there are 300, but they aspire to reach 900.
"We are in the phase of equipping schools with smart laboratories. So far there are about 300, they will go up to 900 in total," he said.
The head of government also spoke about teachers, saying that the government has the ambition to increase their average salary to 1,250 euros.
" I want to tell you that there is no question that beyond all the walls we rebuild, the spaces we create or the state-of-the-art equipment we purchase, the school starts with the teachers and their well-being is a necessity. I assure you that despite the fact that we have significantly increased the attention we pay to teachers, we have guaranteed their inviolability in terms of job security. We have ensured that entry into the ranks of teachers is done on a meritocratic basis and despite the fact that we have significantly increased teachers' salaries. I am aware that more is needed and our ambition is for the average salary to reach 1250 euros. I believe that it is fully achievable with all the opportunities that sustainable economic growth gives us ," he said.
Rama : I am glad that after so many years of decadence in all aspects, but especially in educational infrastructure, where Shkodra lagged behind everyone else.
