Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that to fight corruption in the country, the system must be modernized.

"The organization of the entire system is important; if it is not modernized, there is no chance that the problem of corruption can be solved only through the repressive side of the state. Our governance systems must be such that they do not allow corruption," the Prime Minister emphasized.

The head of government took the example of the Germans, stating that they do not have it in their DNA to be honest, but they have a state system that makes it difficult.

Rama emphasized that in our country there were employees of the German embassy who gave him a car without a seat belt.

"Bring me some Germans to take to an office where we still have such problems and they will see them in 40 days when those 40 days of Christ's temptations have passed," declared the Prime Minister.

Edi Rama: I believe that in the fourth mandate we will not only achieve the objective of being ready for membership, but we will also clear out all the weeds in the subject of our legislation.
