The leader of Albania Becomes, Adriatik Lapaj, declared that the force he leads is ready for cooperation with opposition factors, but only if certain essential conditions are met that, according to him, serve the country's interests and not political bargaining.

In a live broadcast to A2CNN from the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Lapaj emphasized that the opposition must engage in a non-stop protest 24 hours a day until a political solution is reached.

He proposed the creation of a citizens' committee for the transitional government, which according to him should have a 12-month mandate and be composed of the best professionals to prepare free and democratic elections. Another condition was that the political roundtables be held in the square, without party leaders, as an open forum for citizens.

Lapaj also requested agreement on a new draft electoral code, with a national proportional system, open lists, one electoral zone and 140 deputies, citing Kosovo as a model. According to him, this draft should be presented to the international factor and imposed as an obligation on the other side, namely the Socialist Party.

He expressed distrust of joint reforms between the Socialists and the Democratic Party, citing the July 2024 agreement as an example. Lapaj said that the burden of proof lies with the opposition to show that it is serious about confronting Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to him, only a total mobilization of the opposition and citizens in the square can lead to the overthrow of the government and open the way for political change in the country.
