Tensions in the Parliament / SP requested the expulsion of 29 DP deputies, the Ethics Secretariat meets today
The Ethics Secretariat is reviewing today the Socialist Party's request for the expulsion of 29 opposition MPs, following the incidents that occurred during the plenary session of December 18. Following the chaos created in the Assembly hall, where opposition MPs lit flares and clashed with the guard, the majority requested the Secretariat to expel the opposition MPs.
The SP claims that serious acts of violence were committed during the session.
On the other hand, the opposition has described the measures as political and motivated to attack its representation in the Assembly.
