The DP meeting was accompanied by debates, following the proposal not to attend the Territorial and Electoral Reform Commissions.

At the closed-door meeting, there were several DP deputies who spoke out against the boycott.

Among them was Bledion Nallbati, who said they were made like the movie 'Twice a minute'.

"We have become like the movie 'Two Times Mat, Even Ice Cream and Chocolate', we go to parliament but we don't go to the two most important committees. If we go with the idea that Edi Rama doesn't give us anything, it's better not to go to parliament at all. We should go there to explain our option to the citizens, then if we choose the boycott option, to boycott everything, to go on strike in greater escalations, it's not right to go to other committees and not to reforms, we should share our minds", he declared.

"None of us want a boycott, given the conditions when the majority has closed every door and in these conditions of parliamentarism you are forced to take extreme positions," said Tritan Shehu.

Meanwhile, after the meeting, Luciano Boçi declared that the DP has decided not to boycott the Commissions, but to participate.
