Citizens of municipalities that are merging from "Territorialja" protest in front of the Parliament

Citizens from municipalities affected by the territorial reform proposal have gathered in front of the Assembly, opposing the merger of local units.

During the protest, citizens expressed their opposition to the proposed changes, while calls in support of preserving municipalities were heard from the crowd.

"Belshi, not a neighborhood of Elbasan!" and " Divjaka municipality!" are some of the protesters' chants, while another slogan heard during the protest was: " Albania of Albanians, not of those in power."

Protesters continue to stand in front of the Parliament, while metal barriers and numerous police forces have been placed in the surrounding area.
