Rama presents the "Merit Scale" for public administration

Prime Minister Edi Rama presented the new reform called the "Merit Scale", which aims to guarantee the employment and promotion in the public administration hierarchy of the most capable people.

Rama emphasized that part of the reform is also the creation, for the first time, of a ministry dedicated to public administration and good governance, whose leadership will be entrusted to Adea Pirdeni.

 " We have reflected on how to be closer to the people, bringing the administration closer, the state closer, bringing closer to them the feeling that they are the existential, vital reason for the administration's services."

 Part of these changes, where we have called on AI to help, but not only, is the Merit Scale. Another reform that essentially has to do with a very simple question: How do we make the administration a space where the most capable, most prepared, most dedicated and most willing people to serve the country on behalf of the state can not only enter, but also move forward, once they enter, in the hierarchy of the administration?

 Part of this reform is the creation of the Ministry of Public Administration, which is dedicated to administration and good governance, including the organization of institutions, the treatment of human capital and the responsibility of everyone within the administration towards the citizen who knocks, seeks to have his or her problems addressed and demands that his or her problems not be lost in the ocean of bureaucracy ," said Rama.
