Palombo Ranking/ Tirana is classified as the worst city to live in all of Europe

Tirana is the worst city in Europe to live in. A ranking compiled by Alessandro Palombo, a renowned expert in the field and owner of several well-known fintechs that advise digital nomads on where to settle, has classified the Albanian capital as the worst place to live in the entire European continent.
The ranking is based on two indicators. They are affordability and quality of life. The ranking places Tirana in last position for both.
For the first indicator, that of affordability, the result is measured by combining three indicators. They are rent, cost of living and average salary. According to the classification, in Tirana, 170 percent of the average monthly salary is needed to afford rent and cost of living.

This automatically ranks the capital of Albania as the most affordable in Europe, by a wide margin from the penultimate place, which is Varna, Bulgaria, where rent and the cost of living require about 145% of the average salary.
But besides being the most expensive, Tirana also offers the worst quality of life in Europe. For quality of life, the ranking is made by factoring in the quality of healthcare, climate, safety and pollution. Once again, Tirana ranks last in Europe, with a difference from the penultimate city, Yekaterinburg, Russia.

As the towers of star architects swallow every inch of land and climb into the sky, taking away even the air from the citizens of Tirana, the result is this.
Tirana is officially the worst city in the entire European continent to live in. Expensive, affordable, polluted, without healthcare, but with towers, with star architects and with Edi Rama.
