Why was Britney Spears mentioned in P Diddy's trial?

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs allegedly made an A-list guest list for Cassie Ventura’s 21st birthday party.

Cassie testified that at her 21st birthday party in Las Vegas, Diddy had invited Spears and producer Dallas Austin.

She said it was at that party where Combs kissed her for the first time, which shocked her and made her cry, as their relationship up until then had been platonic.

The trial also cited heated messages between them, which the defense used to show that Cassie was a willing participant in "freak-offs," sexual orgies that she had previously described as traumatic.

Cassie admitted that she sometimes felt like Diddy's "fantasy girlfriend" and not his full partner.

The judge has ordered that her questioning be completed within this week.
