Sam Asghari's surprising transformation to become Britney Spears' husband

Sam Asghari made headlines this week for splitting from his celebrity wife Britney Spears just 14 months after their marriage - but now that the spotlight is on him, it's revealed his former life was much more different.
The Iranian immigrant moved to the US with his father when he was 12 in 2006 – leaving behind his mother and three sisters.
He started out as a football player at school but then started studying criminal justice and working at the same time.
This led him to rely on fast food, causing his weight to quickly exceed 100 kg and suffering from depression.
But later Sam decided to turn around and in six months lost around 30kg with a healthy diet and exercise regime.
The 29-year-old has already brightened up his smile with a series of dental implants and this seems to have paved the way for a series of small TV roles and modelling, until he met Britney.
FEMAIL Network has detailed Sam's incredible transformation during his life of success in the US, where Sam initially says he was sleeping just five hours a night and eating junk food to get through the long days due to stress.
