Fire situation, Ministry of Defense takes stock: 5 fires still active, firefighters on the ground

The Ministry of Defense has announced that 11 fires have been reported as of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. It is reported that 5 fires remain active, 5 are under surveillance, and one has been extinguished.
On the ground, according to the Ministry of Defense, a total of 65 operational forces and 2 firefighting vehicles have been engaged, while the Armed Forces support the operations with 20 personnel and 1 helicopter.
The 5 active hotbeds in our country are:
Dajti Mountain, Tirana – the intervention in the area above the Qafë Molla tunnels continues, with 40 firefighters, 7 ADZM forces and 20 AF personnel, supported by 1 AF helicopter. The fires remain active, but there is no danger to residential areas.
Ballenjë, Dibër – the fire continues in difficult rocky terrain, with 5 ADZM Dibër forces engaged. There is no risk to residential areas.
Qafë e Helmës, Bulqizë – the outbreak remains active and is being monitored by 4 Bulqizë MZSH officers. There is no risk to homes.
Mali i Dardhës, Librazhd – the fire has been reactivated in a forest area of about 7–8 ha. Librazhd MZSH officers are on the ground and no homes are at risk.
Valikardhe, Bulqizë – the operation continues with 1 fire truck and 6 firefighters. Work is underway to isolate the fire, which is being favored by wind and high temperatures.
The announcement also emphasizes that the situation appears manageable, while the areas of Gjegjan, Gojan, Prozhmi and Tërbun in Puka no longer have active outbreaks and continue only under monitoring.
