SPAK landed at the homes of Proda and Hysen, also targeting other people connected to Agas

In the early hours of this Tuesday morning, a large-scale operation was undertaken at the request of two Special Prosecutors, Bledar Maksuti and Altin Dumani, as part of the investigations into the AKSHI file.

The focus of the latest action was also the former director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, whose apartment was searched by order of SPAK. The searches were conducted in the early hours of the morning, while investigators seized and administered materials that may be of interest to the file under investigation.

According to preliminary data provided by the media, the searches were not limited to the residence of the former head of the State Police, but were also extended to other persons, including officials and individuals who are suspected of having knowledge or connections to the affairs conducted at the ANA.

As we reported earlier, within the framework of the same investigative development, a security measure has also been signed for the head of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni.

She has been placed under house arrest, along with suspension from duty. However, since she is outside Albania, these measures have not yet been officially communicated to her. At the same time, agents of the National Bureau of Investigation have also conducted searches in her apartment.

To date, no official announcement has been made public that sets out the specific charges against Hysen or the full circumstances on which the security measure was imposed.

This action by the Special Prosecution Office was undertaken as a result of the continuation of the investigations into the AKSHI file, for which Ergys Agasi was also arrested.

The examination of materials seized during this investigation has allegedly revealed new data and communications that prosecutors are analyzing to determine whether other connections exist and whether other individuals had a role or knowledge of the matters being investigated.

The operation undertaken during the early hours of this Tuesday is still ongoing, while SPAK is expected to provide more information on the object of the investigation, the persons against whom the checks were carried out, and the measures taken within the framework of the file.
