Basketball/ Fenerbahçe declared Euroleague champion

Fenerbahçe is the new European champion in men's basketball. The Turkish team triumphed in the final against this season's surprise team, Monaco, with a score of 81-70, crowning an excellent edition.

American Hayes was the best for the winners with 23 points, while Marko Guduric added 19.

After finishing the regular season in second place, very close to Olympiacos, Fenerbahce continued convincingly in the quarterfinals and most recently in the "Final Four", which was held in Abu Dhabi.

This was Fenerbahce's second Euroleague title after the one in 2017, the only Turkish club to have achieved it, and they have reached the finals twice more.
