Fabio Cannavaro: Albania is a strong team that plays with passion, the people are certainly proud!

Fabio Cannavaro, the famous former Italian defender, was the special guest of the AFL at the "UEFA PRO" coaching course. The world champion with the Italian national football team and the winner of the Ballon d'Or, landed in Albania this Thursday and held an open lecture for all participants in the "UEFA PRO" course, with the theme "From footballer to coach, from success on the field in the championships won on the bench".

The activity was led by the Technical Director of the ALF, Fulvio Pea, and was greeted by the vice-president of the ALF, Lutfi Nuri and the member of the Executive Committee of the ALF, Anila Basha, while the leaders and representatives of Albanian clubs, coaches, footballers, and former footballers.

After the lecture, Fabio Cannavaro gave a statement for fshf.org, where he pointed out the development of the Albanian Football Federation under the leadership of President Armand Duka.

" The results speak clearly. The federation is investing a lot, in infrastructure, in coaches, in players and this is a very positive thing. Of course, the leadership line of the President is a modern line, which gives hope to your country" - said Fabio Cannavaro first, who also praised the Albanian national football team.

" I really like the Albanian national team, which is under the leadership of a very good coach. Some of the players have international experience and throughout Europe. They play beautiful football with a lot of passion and surely the people are proud of these players" - said the famous former Italian defender.

Furthermore, the World Champion and Ballon d'Or winner also gave a message to the UEFA PRO trainees encouraging them to work hard to achieve success.

"Young coaches must study as much as possible because football is evolving daily and if they don't study, they will be left behind and it's a sin," concluded Fabio Cannavaro.

Fabio Cannavaro also visited the "House of Football", where he saw the new premises of the AFL, and the training center of the Albanian national football team.

So, on Friday, Francesco Troise, who has worked with Fabio Cannavaro in his career, will hold a lecture for "UEFA PRO" trainees.
