FIFA gives Trump 'Peace Prize': One of the greatest honors of my life

US President Donald Trump was the winner of the first-ever "FIFA Peace Prize", which the football organization awarded during the 2026 World Cup draw in Washington.

"This is your medal," Infantino told the US president.

"This is truly one of the greatest honors of my life. We saved millions of lives. This will be an unprecedented event, I've never seen anything like it."

"Gianni Infantino has done an incredible job, you have set a new record in ticket sales. It is a good image for you and the game of football, as we call it. It is beyond the numbers we thought. The world is a safer place now," Trump said.
