World Cup draw/ The first balls are thrown, the host countries are positioned

The biggest attention is focused on Washington, where the World Cup draw is being made. Of the 48 participating teams, 42 have been learned so far, while the remaining 6 places will be determined in March.
Model Heidi Klum, comedian Kevin Hart and actor and producer Danny Ramirez will be presenters. The draw will be preceded by live musical performances by Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger, while FIFA president Gianni Infantino and US President Donald Trump are expected to give speeches.
Host countries like the USA, Canada, and Mexico enter Pot 1. Playoff teams like Albania or Kosovo, of course, are placed in Pot 4.
Each group will have at least one European team and no more than two. FIFA has adopted a ranking structure to ensure that the four highest-ranked countries, Spain, Argentina, France and England, cannot meet until the semi-finals if they win their respective groups.

Pot Four: Jordan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Curacao, Haiti, New Zealand and the six playoff winners
