The rare story of the Albanian who works in a shoe factory, takes leave at work

The player of Albanian origin, Marseljan Mema, was the protagonist today on the field of play, while his unique story should also be mentioned. Mema is activated on loan to the champion team of San Marino, Virtus, that this evening faced Flora Talin, in the valuable duel for the second round of the Conference League.

The first challenge ended with the score 0-0, while in the return match, Mema was activated in the 55th minute, while in the 88th minute, he turned into a protagonist, where he scored a weighty goal, tied the score at 2-2, so the duel went to overtime.

It is interesting that in order to be a participant in this match, Mema took a leave from work, since from Monday to Friday, he has to work in a shoe factory, while on weekends he plays football with the amateur team of Montecalvo.

Although part of amateur football, the talent of the Albanian has impressed the managers of the champions of San Marino, who loaned Mema for the European match.

The 27-year-old was born in Albania, but grew up in Rimini, Italy. Unfortunately, the Albanian striker's team failed to pull off the miracle, as they conceded 3 goals in overtime against Flora Talin, losing 5-2. We remind you that Flora will now face the winner of the Egnatia-Vikungur pair.
