Juventus plans to reduce Pogba's salary

Juventus are set to open talks over a contract review with Paul Pogba, with the Frenchman set to take a pay cut

The World Cup winner is back in Turin in the summer of 2022 with more fanfare. He had a very difficult time after returning to Manchester United where he left for a huge sum of money in 2016, but at the Allianz Stadium he was hailed as a hero.

Pogba remains to discover his form and fitness upon his return to Italy, with a series of injuries having seen him make just 11 appearances in 12 months. Juve is seeing little return on their investment, with the 30-year-old earning eight million euros a year without working.

Calciomercato reports that the manager of the Whites, Cristiano Giuntoli, will soon meet with Pogba's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, to discuss new contract terms. The media reports that the Frenchman will be asked to reduce his salary or revise the agreement where his salary of eight million will be given according to his performances along with bonuses.
