Chaos at Tirana-Elbasan, 10 fans face criminal charges

During and after the match between Tirana and Elbasan at “Selman Stërmasi”, there was no shortage of clashes and tension between fans, which forced the State Police to intervene. Recently, the State Police announced that they have initiated criminal proceedings against 10 fans.

Supporters of both teams threw hard objects onto the field and disobeyed police orders, jeopardizing the progress of the match.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 2 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated for:

-citizens SN, AL, IS, KM, FE, NK, IM, M. Sh., Xh. Gj. and PB, as it is suspected that during the football match "Tirana-Elbasani", they threw hard objects on the field, and did not obey the orders of the Police officers engaged in the smooth running of the match".
