Fan dies after falling from stadium stand at Nations League final

A fan died at the Allianz Arena in Munich during the Nations League final between Portugal and Spain.

He fell from the second floor of the main stand and despite first aid, he did not survive.

"There was a medical emergency at the Munich arena and, despite the best efforts of the medical team, the person unfortunately passed away after midnight," UEFA said in a statement.

Spain coach De La Fuente expressed his condolences to the family.

"Before we start with the questions, I would like to express my condolences because a fan died today in the stands. Condolences to the family," De la Fuente said.
