"We only aim for three points, we leave the rest out of football"/ Strakosha on the match with Serbia: We deserve to go to a World Cup

Albanian national team goalkeeper, Thomas Strakosha, has spoken about the match between Albania and Serbia that will be played on Saturday, June 7th at the "National Arena".

The red-and-black goalkeeper said that the team is preparing well and that it is aiming for three points in this heated match, which will also affect Albania's dream of qualifying for a World Cup.

" I don't just look at it personally. It's part of the whole group working together. Serbia is a team that has played in big competitions. And we have quality and I think we can do well in this match."

So far I see that the guys are well prepared. I know it's something more for the fans. But we want the three points and to make the fans happy.

It's not a match like the others, but we see it like the others. The three points are more important to us. We have to show that we deserve a World Cup. Saturday is the most important match so far. The atmosphere is positive and I believe we can do it.

They are very good at set pieces, but we have to be focused so that the ball doesn't go there. We defended very well against Spain and Italy.
No special player. As a team we know that they are very good at counterattacks and set pieces. We have prepared well.

"There have been times in my career when I haven't played for a year. I am always focused and ready for this match. We are professionals and we focus on every match properly. It will be an important match, but it will not decide the fate of the group. We will give our maximum and take everything in every match ," said Strakosha.
