Diagnosed with aggressive cancer, boxer passes away just 2 weeks after marriage

English boxer Georgia O'Connor has tragically passed away at the age of 25 after a battle with cancer.

O'Connor was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer in October 2024, which was considered incurable by doctors.

O'Connor's death comes less than two weeks after she got married.

The boxer's last Instagram post was about her wedding day as she shared her wedding ring with friends, accompanied by the caption:  "09.05.2025. The day I married the love of my life."

O'Connor excelled during a stellar amateur career, winning gold at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games.
