Official, Roma presents the Dutch defender, he will wear number 2

Devyne Rensch is Roma's newest player. The Dutch defender has joined the Yellows on a permanent transfer from Ajax, as explained in the club's official statement:

"AS Roma is pleased to announce the definitive acquisition of Devyne Rensch from Ajax.

Born in 2003, in the role of right-back, the Dutchman grew as a footballer in the Ajax academy, later becoming a starter for the first team, accumulating over 100 official matches in all competitions.

Furthermore, Rensch has already made his debut for the senior Dutch national team. His debut is scheduled for September 7, 2021, in a match against Turkey.

With the Roma jersey, he will wear the number 2 and will be the eighth Dutch player in history to wear the yellow-red jersey.
