Murder of Portuguese tourist, Police "land" in Tirana and Kukës to arrest Gjana and Bulica
The State Police is conducting a large-scale operation this Thursday to capture wanted persons in connection with the serious incident that occurred two days ago in Ksamil, where a Portuguese tourist was stabbed to death.
According to media sources, it is reported that police forces are conducting checks in Vora, Kukës and in several areas of Tirana, with the aim of capturing and arresting suspects.
Police suspect that David Gjana alias Heurteven may be hiding in the Vora area, while another wanted person is Bekim Bulica, owner of "Principote". Meanwhile, authorities suspect that the wanted persons may have left Albania and crossed into Kosovo territory.
We recall that Sokrat Vata is suspected of having stabbed Portuguese Luis Miguel Varela Mendes, 20, several times in the body with a cutting tool (knife). After stabbing the young man, the Blues report that at the same time citizen David Heurtevent punched the 20-year-old. As a result, it is announced that the duo Sokrat Vata and David Heurtevent are accused of intentional murder, committed in collaboration.
