"AKU will be dissolved", the Minister of Agriculture announces radical reform for food control

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, announced in the studio of the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV that the AKU will be merged and merged with all food inspectorates.
"Four shipments of tangerines were export tangerines. 35 were blocked by Greece and Italy, which are EU countries. This is not an Albanian phenomenon, I am not relativizing that they are also worse off than us, but I want to say that this product is made by increasing the exchange of information. When the bird flu hit Croatia, we blocked imports, or when there is a problem in Romania, we are also interested. These are protocols that we have established in law. There are inspectors to implement them and they are mandatory to implement.
In September last year, a law was passed that will be implemented by the end of the year, with all the legal acts that the inspectorates will be reorganized, the AKU will be merged and will join all the food inspectorates. All of them will create an institution that will implement its policies, for fishing, for plants, animal products and will not depend on a general director, nor on the minister, but on an entire system, because we cannot manage only with people, but with three levels of monitoring" - said Denaj.
