Journalist Arben Manaj writes from Lodra that an "Ëizzair" plane that arrived on March 6 from Luton, England to Rinas suffered a serious malfunction in the air. The starboard engine burned out and all the smoke went into the cabin.
The passengers were traumatized and as if that wasn't enough, says Manaj, the plane stayed in the air over Shkodra for an hour. Normal lights were turned off and the Wizzair plane remained in the air with emergency lights until it landed in Rinas.
With many difficulties, the plane landed at Rinas Airport at 21.05 on the evening of March 6. Despite the fact that the event was serious, it was not reported by the authorities. British Airways from Tirana to London delayed due to a defect and the British have honored the plane!
