New details have come to light from the serious incident that occurred in the village of Kuman, in Roskovec , where 80-year-old Shefit Rrapaj killed his wife Dashuri Rrapaj and then killed himself.
According to reports, the couple's son testified that at the time of the incident he was not in the apartment, but in Fier for a medical consultation, a fact that was also confirmed by security cameras.
He said that his father had a conflicting behavior and that the last fight between them had occurred about 10 days before the incident. The cause was a small argument about fertilizing potatoes in the yard, which later ended up in the police station in Roskovec. According to him, his mother, Dashuria, often came to his son's defense during these conflicts.
The boy confessed that after returning from Fier, he found his parents dead in their apartment. He initially notified a cousin and then called the police.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the weapon used in the crime was old and is suspected to have been hidden for a long time, since the riots of 1997. It was found with soil, and it turns out that it was used twice: one bullet took the life of the woman, while the other killed the elderly man. The investigation team is continuing its investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
