Vjosa takes cities one by one, Osman's "campaign" before the end of his mandate

President Vjosa Osmani has begun a tour of meetings in the country's main cities, just a short time before she ends her term as head of state.
The presidency has not released any announcements about Osmani's meetings, but the political staff has published a video where Osmani is seen mainly greeting citizens.
On Tuesday, during his stay in Mitrovica, Osmani briefly said that these are thank-you meetings.
"I thank the citizens for the support, the love they have given us, for being by our side every day during these 5 years and for the great honor they have given me to represent them internally and externally during these years. These are simply thank-you meetings, as many of you have seen here."
Over the past week, Osmani has also stayed in Ferizaj, Gjakova, Podujeva, Suhareka, Lipjan and other villages.
In some of these meetings, the president has been accompanied by former MPs from the Guxo List or the Democratic League of Kosovo.
Political analysts say that these meetings of Osman are a campaign and preparation to return to party activity.
"It is now clear that she is preparing for political party activity, she will be part of some political party."
In the event of possible elections, Osmani is expected to position himself against Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
"I think it will be clear that he will be in the anti-Kurti camp. That is to say, that Kurti-Osmani binomial that took place in 2021 was a random binomial."
Even a possible collaboration between Osman and Kurti seems difficult, especially after the clash over her not running for another term as head of state.
"It remains to be seen how the political scene in Kosovo will be restructured. One thing is clear, Mr. Kurti has burned a lot of political capital over the last 7 years."
Kurti and Osmani ran on a joint list in the February 2021 elections, receiving over 50% of the vote, but their differences became apparent midway through their governing mandate, which concerned relations with internationals.
