Espionage on behalf of Russia, 2 people arrested in Germany!

A Ukrainian and a Romanian have been arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia, the Federal Prosecutor's Office in Germany recently announced.

According to the statement, Alla S. was arrested in North Rhine-Westphalia by special police forces and officers of the Bavarian Crime Agency (BKA), while Sergey N. was arrested in Alicante by Spanish authorities.

The two arrested are believed to have spied on behalf of a Russian intelligence service in Germany since December 2025, on behalf of a person who supplied drones to Ukraine, while systematically filming his place of work and residence.

According to the magazine 'Der Spiegel', German authorities believe that the surveillance was intended to prepare further surveillance operations against the drone supplier - perhaps an attack on it or even an assassination.

The person under surveillance is now in a safe place and is taking special precautions, the magazine reports.

His company supplied Ukraine with drones and specializes in the production of individual drone components.
