"I will make a decision in consultation with the group"/ Spiropali responds to Balla for his absence from the session on Balluk: Collective decision-making is the guarantee of legitimacy

Socialist Party MP Elisa Spiropali has reacted through a post on social media regarding a statement by Taulant Balla regarding her absence from the parliamentary session on whether or not to authorize SPAK to arrest former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
Her reaction comes after a statement by Balla, who said that "I will make a decision in consultation with the parliamentary group," when asked about Spiropal's absence from the vote on whether or not to grant authorization to SPAK.
In her message, Spiropali addresses the leader of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, emphasizing the importance of consultation and joint decision-making:
“Taulant, I belatedly read a public statement of yours. I completely agree. If the matter requires consultation with the parliamentary group, then that is exactly what should be done without delay. Call the group and let's have a full discussion.”
She underlined that collective decision-making is a key element for the functioning of the SP parliamentary group and for the political legitimacy of decisions:
"Collective decision-making is the strength of the SP group and the guarantee of political legitimacy. Every position that emerges from an open, blunt and conscientious discussion deserves respect, regardless of the direction it takes."
In conclusion, Spiropali emphasized the importance of accountability to the public in every political decision:
"It is important that the decision is thoughtful, reasoned, and in line with the responsibility we have towards the public."
