Exclusions in the DP, Salianji: Distortion of political behavior! The party is not private property

Ervin Salianji has reacted to the recent decisions of the Democratic Party to expel two Democratic councilors in Durrës from the leadership structure.
Salianji described this as a "major distortion of political behavior" and a consequence of the opposition's successive defeats.
According to him, instead of returning to voters and the party's base, the leadership is excluding Democrats.
"Losers exclude winners. Losers want to choose their voters. This is the great deformation of political behavior that has brought about the consecutive losses of the opposition. Instead of returning to the foundation, to the vote to start the path to victory, they exclude the Democrats. It is unimaginable that in 2026 there is leadership with this mindset, the exclusion of the chairman of the group of advisors and the secretary of the Durrës branch, two contributors and sacrificers for years in the party, shows depression and fear! Fear of competition is not leadership! The two advisors in Durrës were excluded because they support an idea: competition. This is not strength. This is fear. The Democratic Party is not private property. It belongs to the Democrats and the Democrats are not excluded! They vote, they choose!", - says Salianji .
