Noka said he was expelled after abusing his position, Dritan Burgija responds:

Democrat Dritan Burgija has reacted to the decision to dismiss him from the ranks of the Democratic Party in the Durrës region, emphasizing that this action showed Flamur Noka's disloyalty.

Through a post made online, Burgija writes that his journey in the Democratic Party spans several years, during which he has worked hard and has always reacted in cases that he considers unfair, emphasizing that he has never been servile, unlike what was claimed.

"This journey began early, in my youth, when we were on the front lines facing the dictatorship in its final throes, and has continued uninterruptedly over the years: as a member, commissioner, enumerator, member of the leadership, coordinator in certain areas, vice president, president of the Durrës Democratic Party, member of the National Council and the Municipal Council. I have been and have remained where I needed to be, not in the easy days, but in the difficult moments, when the Democratic Party needed resilience; not for silence, for character; not for servility," Burgija writes in his reaction.

He added that he has always worked and reacted for the good of the Party, to preserve its values and principles.

In concluding his reaction, the democrat writes that the decision in question is completely absurd and baseless, which shows the cowardice of the one who signed it, referring here to Flamur Noka, whom he also described as a treacherous person.

"We are dealing with an absurd, arrogant, baseless and unmanly decision, which does not shame those who were excluded, but those who drafted and signed it, and who speak in the name of faith and who only have no faith. It is an act outside any statutory provision, outside any procedure, without legitimacy, without standards and without political dignity. An act ridiculous in form and miserable in content, which reveals the true face of those who cannot tolerate a different opinion, do not accept competition and do not trust the democrats," Burgija further adds.

Dritan Burgija's full reaction:

Honorable democrats, friends, comrades, collaborators and colleagues, we are united by the democratic ideal, free thought and revolt against injustice.

My personal and family contribution to the Democratic Party, as a descendant of a persecuted class, is not a matter of words, but of attitude. This contribution is not measured by statements, but by presence in confrontation, by resistance to injustice, by sacrifice and by loyalty to a cause that has not been betrayed even in the most difficult days.

This journey began early, in my youth, when we were on the front lines facing the dictatorship in its final throes, and has continued uninterruptedly over the years: as a member, commissioner, enumerator, member of the leadership, coordinator in certain areas, vice president, president of the Durrës Democratic Party, member of the National Council and the Municipal Council. I have been and have remained where I needed to be, not in the easy days, but in the difficult moments, when the Democratic Party needed resilience; not for silence, for character; not for servility.

We are the people of freedom, truth and justice. For these values we have worked unconditionally and for these values we rose to re-establishment. Re-establishment was not a political luxury, but a moral and historical necessity to save the Democratic Party from dissolution, capture and deformation.

I am part of this resistance. I have raised my voice, I have spoken out, and I have stood by every honest democrat to speak our truths among ourselves, not to harm the Democratic Party, but to mend it; not to weaken it, but to return it to its values, principles, and dignity. And I am not alone in this journey, for this is not the fight of an individual, but of every democracy that rejects silence, submission, and deceit.

But this is precisely where the problem lies! This is the red line that every self-absorbed leader and every servile person in power has raised against us: not to speak up, not to demand accountability, not to demand standards, not to demand competition.

While we seek victory, they offer bargains, backstage passes, and bunkered lists of legal acrobatics.

While we demand openness, inclusiveness of contributions over the years, real competition, political standards, fair competition, honest analysis and a program of action; the response that comes is slander, denigration, arrogance and ultimately exclusion. This is not a reaction of force, but an act of fear. It is not a political decision, but a sign of panic from the truth.

We are dealing with an absurd, arrogant, baseless and unmanly decision, which does not shame those who were excluded, but those who drafted and signed it, and who speak in the name of faith and who only have no faith. It is an act outside any statutory provision, outside any procedure, without legitimacy, without standards and without political dignity. An act ridiculous in form and miserable in content, which reveals the true face of those who cannot tolerate different opinions, do not accept competition and do not trust the democrats.

I guarantee you that I remain loyal to democracy, my positions and beliefs, with the same dedication and responsibility, because no one has the right, nor the moral and political right, to erase with a signature, the contribution, sacrifice and history of anyone in the Democratic Party.
