A momentary conflict that occurred this afternoon in the Beach area of ​​Durrës ended with the injury of a taxi driver.

The incident occurred at around 17:35, in neighborhood no. 13, specifically in the "Hekurudha" sector of the beach, where during a conflict it is suspected that the 45-year-old was stabbed by still unidentified persons.

The injured 45-year-old, Florant Sinanaj, a resident of Tirana, was urgently taken to the Durrës Regional Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Sources from the hospital indicate that he received two puncture wounds to the chest and abdomen, but is out of danger and under the care of doctors.

The circumstances of the conflict still remain unclear, while the police are working to clarify and fully document it, with the aim of identifying and apprehending the suspected perpetrator or perpetrators.
