Ukraine peace talks, British Prime Minister Starmer holds phone conversation with President Trump

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump today, Downing Street in London said.
The two leaders discussed the war in Ukraine and the appointment of Christian Turner as the new ambassador to Washington, the statement said.
Earlier, the head of Ukrainian negotiators, Rustem Umerov, announced that the Ukrainian delegation will meet again today with American representatives in Miami, where they have been since Friday for talks on ending the war with Russia.
“The third day of work. Today, with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Andriy Gnatov, we will have another meeting with the American side,” he said in a post on Telegram. “We are working constructively and substantively. We expect further progress and practical results,” he added.
US special envoys will also meet today, for the second time, with Russia's representative, Kirill Dmitriev.
