Police assistance was needed to restore calm. Flamurtari Football Club has issued an official statement today: " Official Statement! Flamurtari Football Club expresses its deep regret for the incident that occurred during the match in Vlora, where several individuals entered the field of play and were involved in a clash, violating the normality and safety of the sporting activity.
We clearly distance ourselves from any form of violence and behavior that harms the dignity of sport, the image of Flamurtari and the name of the city of Vlora. These actions do not represent the values of the club and our city.
We emphasize that the vast majority of our fans support the team with passion and citizenship, a passion that we appreciate and consider a strength of Flamurtari. The club will fully cooperate with the State Police and relevant authorities to identify those responsible and fully clarify the incident, making available any necessary information.
In parallel, we will intensify work and communication with fans and their groups, so that support for Flamurtari is strong, but always within respect and rules, avoiding the repetition of such episodes in the future.
