A serious incident has been recorded in Italy, where a 40-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her partner.
The tragedy occurred in the province of Salerno, where 40-year-old Diego Di Domenico stabbed his partner, Anna Tagliaferri, also 40, 8 times.
He also slightly injured her mother, who tried to protect her daughter. He then climbed onto the roof of the house and ended his life by jumping from the height.
Tagliaferri was a well-known businesswoman in the city, co-owner with her brothers of a pastry shop.
A few months ago, the businesswoman was honored by Mayor Vincenzo Servalli at the Municipality of Cava de' Tirreni for the company's 50th anniversary. That day, alongside her and her immediate family, was Diego, also involved in the family business, with whom she had started living a little less than a year ago.
