Two earthquakes shook Greece this evening within a time interval of ten minutes.

The first had a magnitude of 2.9 and the second had a force of 2.7 on the Richter scale and were considered harmless by seismologists.

They were registered northeast of Rafina, on Sunday evening.

The first earthquake, measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale, occurred at 7:50 p.m. It had a focal depth of 8.4 kilometers and its epicenter was 6 kilometers northeast of Rafina.

The second tremor occurred seven minutes later, at 19:57. According to the automatic solution of Geodynamics, the focal depth of the tremor was 5 kilometers and the epicenter was 6 kilometers east, northeast of Rafina.

Tremors were felt in Southeastern Attica, while no material damage or injuries were reported.
