Cocaine worth 600 thousand euros, Albanian arrested in Italy

The Guardia di Finanza in Florence has arrested a 33-year-old Albanian citizen, who was caught with a significant amount of drugs and cash.
The arrest was made after a detailed search, after authorities had noticed suspicious movements in his vehicle. During the inspection, over 15 kilograms of cocaine, divided into 20 blocks, and 12 kilograms of marijuana were found in his car. In addition to the drugs, 37 thousand euros in cash were also seized.
The market value of the drugs, if disposed of, would be around 600,000 euros. Authorities also confiscated specialized equipment for the packaging and distribution of drugs, including a vacuum packaging machine, precision scales, cutters and other packaging materials.
Investigations are continuing to discover whether this arrest is part of a wider trafficking network and to identify possible links with other criminal groups, both in Italy and abroad.
