"He was unresponsive and foaming at the mouth and nose," the testimony of the tourist who helped the British woman who died in Saranda is revealed.

The show "Në Shënjestër" has once again brought to attention the case of the young British woman, Rebecca Gannon, who died off the Albanian coast in a diving accident, an event that occurred in 2022.
One of the tourists who tried to save Rebeka stated that she saw that the girl was unresponsive and began foaming from her mouth and nose.
We showed up at the dive center around 9:00 AM.
There we were met by a girl who was preparing our equipment. After filling out a form in English, we got ready to leave.
The group we were in consisted of 12 people, 2 or 3 instructors, and a girl who I think was the organizer.
Around 10:30 we left the dive center for the port. And from there we boarded a boat and headed to the dive site.
Asked about the professional level of knowledge and experience in such expeditions, the Spanish diver said that the levels within the group were different.
While she herself, along with her boyfriend and 3 other people, had a beginner level.
But not Rebeka, who was an above-average diver and had extensive experience in the sport over the years.
The reason why the British diver and the rest of the group, with an average level of preparation, were the first to dive into the sea.
The people in the group had several levels of immersion. My boyfriend, I, and three others had a beginner level.
Regarding Rebeka and her boyfriend, they were in the intermediate diving group. This was also the reason why we, as a beginner group, were the last to dive that day.
And why did we stand on the water and wait on the lowered boat?
This was also the unfortunate moment that will always remain etched in the memory of the Spanish tourist.
Who, waiting her turn in the boat to dive with the rest of the group, saw Rebeka's body floating on the water.
But even though she says she tried to help him, since she was a doctor, everything was in vain.
The starting group was the last to dive, so I didn't go into the water and was waiting sitting on the boat.
During this time, a Dutch guy told me he had a problem with a girl.
Then I went to the girl who was the organizer, who was talking on the phone and asking for help.
After a few minutes, I saw the instructor on the water bringing the girl to the boat.
Since I am a doctor by profession, I immediately approached to provide first aid.
But after giving her a few life-saving breaths, I saw that the girl was unresponsive and began foaming from her mouth and nose.
Unfortunately for her, Rebeka could not be saved, despite the great help she was given at that moment.
And it remained a bitter memory for the entire group of divers who had set out to sea that day to enjoy the underwater artifacts, but who returned without one of the expedition members.
Then I tested if Rebekah's carotid artery was working, but she had no signs of life and her eyes were dilated.
Like the rest of the group, one of the people questioned about the fatal incident at sea was Chris Daisler.
Who told how they had come into contact with the underwater diving agency 'Saranda Diving Center'
Chris who was part of the same average group as Rebecca and her boyfriend Robert
Which also says that after filling out the dive forms in English, they then went to the dive site.
